A new life has come to our mountain. Her name is Francesca. Brown and white with a little spot on her face just like mom. Isn't life beautiful.

Tiny Houses

Oh these are so cute. Dreaming of one day having such a simple and organic lifestyle. Not much but just enough is just right for me.The colors make me happy and add a focal point to the land . Simple has always been my motto , that and recycle what you can.

I'm hoping that soon we will be able to get on the road with our motor home,although with the price of gas I'm not so sure) to visit places and do documentaries of these wonderful out of the ordinary ways to live.

Always a believer in finding a different way,without the rules or constraints of society. I love the unusual and natural.

last year we filmed a documentary and commercial for building a straw bale home. What a great expierence. So organic.

Remember the freedom of the young. Free of rules and straight lines. Believing we can touch the sky or build the castle. It doesn't have to change. Just think outside the box. Change your rules. It's your picture. Color it!

Getting Things Done

How are you about getting things done? That is one of my worst habits. I am the best at having loads to do and seeming to accomplish nothing or maybe I should say ,not the things I really should.

Life seems to come at me from everywhere and try as I might I seem to get lost in it. Writing things down in a planner really helps me to stay focused. Of course wanting to know what I want to do first helps.

This year my first new resolution is to become a planner. Prioritizing is my new best friend. Writing my blog every morning with coffee is going to become my new habit. Never leaving the house without my to-do list is my new mantra.

Life is going to become so much easier.

What I'm About

Recycle, organic, natural lifestyle thats the me I put on hold for 30 years. I live in a very natural oriented small town so for me it is very easy to have organic produce and herb stores within reach.

Today I plan to start cleaning my cupboards and tossing and donating to the food bank things I know longer wish to have around me and my family. It's a first step and a small one but today is the day and as they say today is all you've got . So I'm on it........how bout you?

Shoes

Lets put on our shoes,step into the world and rediscover who we are. Everyone has special gifts we just need to uncover,remember and find them again. We knew them once,when we were young . We knew who we were. Did we want to be dancers,firefighters, doctors,writers?

Life is all about discovery. Trying new things,trying old things again. What are you going to try?

Me, I'm taking sometime to discover my camera again. Photography is an way of seeing the world everyone else sees just different. A way of slowing the world down just alittle so I can feel the balance we all need to beable to see the joy in each day.
